Lucie Marlo: "An abstract world of abiding hope and limitless dreams …"

Growing up with health problems, her desire to make a difference led her to earn a Ph.D. in Nutrition. As her career accelerated, her painting in Realism began to ebb and – eventually – ground to a halt, only to be replaced years later by a new, rich style of abstract art painting.

Abstract art collectors, renowned galleries and fans of symbolism art have since become avid followers of Lucie's work, even buying her paintings from the easel before the paint is dry. Her original abstract art and giclee canvases reside in corporate and private collections throughout Canada and the United States, as well as Europe and South Africa.

Lucie Marlo lives in Victoria, British Columbia, and Scottsdale, Arizona, where she paints in studios that open to entirely different landscapes. (Simply study her "cool" abstract paintings, and compare them to her "warm" paintings for clues to their origin.)
