A World of Imagery and ColourThe Marlo sisters share many things including a passion for art. Their need for creative expressions has always been a part of their lives. Their earliest memories include spending endless hours drawing, perhaps a child’s attempt to understand and interpret the world around her. As the years went by, that love and need took back seat to life’s obligations, but the inner voice beckoning them to put their talent to use could not be completely silenced. Reduced to a whisper for far too long, the whisper turned into a roar that could not longer be ignored. Separately and jointly they picked up their art with a vengeance and there has been no looking back. The colours and images burst forth giving the world a glimpse of the spectrum of their imagination. An inner world of experiences, observations, pain, joy, and desires took a life of its own in aesthetically pleasing forms. Together, they invite the viewer into that world, where undoubtedly they will find echoes of their own existence, hopes, fears and dreams. |
